We are happy to announce that the 2nd Edition was successfully
launched at JavaOne 2003. The book became the #1 book at the JavaOne
Book Store and our technical sessions were attended in full.
Two years after the first edition was launched in June 2001, we
have seen tremendous success for the book and wide adoption and
popularity in the J2EE developer community. Over the years, we have
received great feedback and suggestions from our readers. We thank
those that took the time to write to us. We hope that the 2nd edition
